Explosion in a block of flats in Nalchik

An explosion took place on December, 27, in the ground floor of a five-storey domestic building of 60 flats in Kalmykov street in the micro-district of Volny Aul, Nalchik.

The emergency services of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria reported that after activating an unidentified explosive device the building was set on fire. All the dwellers of the section were evacuated.

Fire was extinguished by 23:55. The window glasses were knocked out but the system of life support was not damaged. A dead man was found in the scene of the accident, news portal BCM.Ru reports.
