Chief of criminal investigation department wounded in Nalchik

This morning, at about half past eight, an explosion took place near the house No 188 in Akhohov street in Nalchik. An unidentified explosive device of about 100 gram trotyl equivalent power had been placed under the "VAZ-2131" service car with the chief of criminal investigation unit of Department of Interior Affairs of the city of Nalchik in the cabin.

As a result of the explosion the militia officer got wounded and was taken to hospital, agents of the Investigation department of Prosecutor's committee of inquiry of the Russian Federation in Kabardino-Balkaria told a reporter of "Caucasian Knot".

It should be reminded that last night Azaretaly Sydakov, member of the Supreme Court, aged 28, was killed and on October, 9, two explosive devices were found at the roadside in Nalchik.
