"Brigade members" will set up barrier to bribery of voters

An enlarged meeting took place at the Government of the republic to discuss the results of the first round of the presidential election in Karachaevo-Cherkessia and the preparation for the second round of the vote.

On the initiative of Republican Election Commission of Karachaevo-Cherkessia Vice-Chairman Marat Tebuyev, it was decided to organize a sort of people's brigades in order to prevent the attempts of bribery of voters on the voting day of August 31. Brigade members, dressed in mufti, will be among the voters so that they will get an opportunity to see the facts of bribery themselves. It means they will be able to catch the bribers red-handed.
